Permissions & Troubleshooting

My camera isn't working or the AR won't start

This is almost always a camera-permission issue. Try these in order:

Key Points

  1. iPhone (Safari): tap the "AA" / page-settings icon in the address bar → Website Settings → Camera → Allow, then reload.
  2. Android (Chrome): tap the lock/tune icon in the address bar → Permissions → Camera → Allow, then reload.
  3. Make sure no other app is using the camera, then fully close and reopen the browser tab.
  4. Confirm you're in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android), as other browsers aren't supported.
