What is TalkHereNow?
TalkHereNow (THN) is a voice-first AI Friend you experience in augmented reality (AR) through your phone's camera and web browser. Your AI Friend appears life-size, standing or sitting right in your real room, and you talk to it out loud, and it talks back in real time with its own voice. It also remembers your past conversations, and you can take photos and videos with it. It's built to be a fun, friendly hangout.
What is AR (augmented reality) and how does it work here?
Augmented reality means the AI Friend is shown inside your real surroundings. When you point your phone's camera at your room, your AI Friend is placed into that live view so it looks like it's actually there with you. You can move your phone around and it stays put in your space. No special headset or hardware is needed; it all happens in your phone's browser.
Do I need to download an app? Is anything installed on my phone?
No. There's nothing to download and no app store. You just open the link in your phone's browser and it loads. It doesn't install anything, there's no home-screen app to add, and it never sends push notifications.
What phones and browsers are supported?
It runs on Safari on iPhone (iOS) and Chrome on Android. If you open it in a different browser, you'll be prompted to switch to Safari or Chrome. It's designed for phones, which is where the camera AR experience works.

Why do I have to enter my date of birth?
THN is an 18+ experience, so you confirm your age on entry. It's a quick self-attestation. There's no ID upload and nothing is scanned. If the birth date entered is under 18, the experience won't start.
