There's an "AI" label and it sometimes reminds me it's an AI. Why?

That's intentional. An "AI" indicator is shown at all times, and periodically your AI Friend will acknowledge that it's an AI and how long you've been chatting. It's a transparency/compliance feature and expected behavior, not a glitch.
